One of the most common design questions I get is about paint color. Paint is a hard thing to choose for most people since it actually does look different in every space depending on the amount of light present in the space. This is why I always stress the importance of testing out samples in the exact room you will be painting so you can see how it will appear in your space. Click here to get your free guide!
That being said, there are also hundreds of colors and tens of brands to choose from. That’s why I created a cheat sheet for you with my top 25 favorite neutrals. Now, you won’t have to worry about your head spinning when you go to the paint store and you see approximately a gazillion teeny paint chips that all look the same. I’ve narrowed it down for you! Testing Colors
Sometimes, a paint chip at the store looks so good and then when you get home and paint it on the wall, it just looks bad. This has to do with how light reflects in the room. Therefore, you should always test colors! (I know I am repeating myself but this is SO important!) I like to use Samplize. Samplize is basically a big sticker of your paint color that you can put on your wall so you don’t have to deal with sample pots. It’s cleaner and way easier to do it this way. This is a product that I used and have been very happy with! All the colors in my paint guide are available through Samplize. Keep in mind though that if you do the cheapest shipping option, it may take a few days to come so make sure to plan in advance!
That’s all for today! Good luck choosing paint colors! Let me know in the comments which paint colors are your favorites.
