How to Decorate Your Walls on a Budget

Nothing bothers me more than being in a house where the walls are completely and utterly empty. If you want your space to be uniquely you, you need photos, accessories, and art hanging on your walls. However, these things can get expensive quickly. Here are some ways to source wall accessories for less.

Family Photos

My absolute favorite way to dress up your walls is to use family photos. There is nothing more precious than your family. Celebrate them! This is your house and you want to make it personal. If you want to hang large-scale photos for cheap, I have found that the best way to do that is with these vinyl signs. You can customize it to any size you want. I just ordered 2’ x 2’ square photos for my foyer and they came out to $3.20 each! You can hang them with photo hangers such as these wooden poster hangers. You can also do this with art prints.

Art

If you like art, the first place to check is Etsy. Etsy has independent artists that sell their art in this online marketplace. If you’re looking to get a bargain, look no further. Here is some large-scale art that I like that is budget-friendly (for art at least). Plus, this seller has amazing customer service! I recently ordered this for a client and we received the wrong frame color. The seller refunded me without making me send back the art. Score!

Accessories

Other accessories I like include wall clocks. They are functional as well as beautiful. Here is one of my favorites. It goes with a range of decor styles and looks great anywhere you put it.
